Infant and Toddler Spontaneous Learning
Children under 3 are learning unconsciously.
We strive to continually provide a calm beautiful orderly environment where children feel loved, respected and safe to explore and learn.
Each activity in our infant and toddler room focuses on a primary goal associated with certain skills and includes one or more secondary goals. Each activity is prepared to attract each child in their stage of development.
Activities start with basic concepts and gradually become more complex. Opportunities for ‘pincer grasp’ development are provided as the skill is used in later years for activities such as holding a pencil.
Outside Play
Children explore our outdoor environment with wonder and excitement.
Fine motor skill activities as well as gross motor skill activities are an integral part of our under three programs indoors and outdoors.
Activity goals in our program include the developing of concentration, exploration, curiosity, independence, self-confidence, sorting and colors, shape and size discrimination.
Repetition and practice provides the optimal learning experience.

Activities start with basic concepts and gradually become more complex. Opportunities for ‘pincer grasp’ development are provided as the skill is used in later years for activities such as holding a pencil.
